Hope you’re all staying well.
From Monday 11 May, I am aiming to reopen at my premises in East Kilbride for essential repairs to customers’ cars on an appointment only basis.
Customers’ safety and welfare is my primary concern and, looking forwards to what is clearly going to be the “new normal”, I have created a separate customer waiting area/lounge; and customers are requested to leave their existing key or keys in their car and either leave the premises and return at a pre-arranged time, or they may wait in the newly created customer waiting area which is regularly sanitised and contains anti-bacterial gel and antiseptic wipes for customers’ use.
Social distancing will be practised and PPE in the form of face coverings and disposable gloves will be worn at all times.
Unfortunately, I’m still not able to contemplate travelling outside the West/Central Scotland area and even then, only for emergency jobs for key workers to allow essential travel.
Just as soon as I am able to, I’ll start planning trips to all areas. If you’ve previously completed a “Tour Booking and Registration”, you’ll automatically be notified once I start planning appointments.
If you haven’t completed the form and want to be included, please complete the form here:-
Please get in touch if you need an essential repair to your car either at our premises or elsewhere, if you qualify as a key worker or isolating individual or household, and for the avoidance of doubt, sensible preventative maintenance, such as obtaining a spare key so as not to be stranded if you lose your only key, or repairing/replacing faulty keys or instrument clusters can be considered essential, if you need to be able to use your car.
